How to upload brand elements on Mojo

A crucial part of forming your brand identity is communicating a clear brand image on social media. Consistency and uniformity of your logo, colors and fonts are imperative to create professional social content.

The sooner you establish your branding, the better your videos and messaging will be. You’ll be able to solidify your brand in the industry and become recognizable to your audience.

In this article, we are going to talk about how to create and upload all of your branded elements on Mojo. Your selections will be found in one convenient place so that you can access them every time you or your teammates go to make a video.

How to upload your brand elements

It’s easy to choose and save your brand elements within the app! Save everything in one place: the My Brand Kit.

Check out our short video which will walk you through how to create your Brand Kit. If you need more help, here’s a written step-by-step for you to follow along:

Open the Mojo app.
Go to Settings or the My Stories tab.
Tap My Brand Kit. You’ll see a page where you can select your colors, fonts and logos.
Tap the “+” icon next to Colors.
To add a new color, use the sliders or enter the color code. Click Add.
Tap the “+” icon next to Fonts.
To add a new font, select from the options presented. Mojo Pro gives you access to all sorts of fonts (and they can change with each template)! Your own fonts can be added through a .ttf file.
Tap the “+” icon next to Logos.
With Mojo Pro, you can add your logo and insert special effects. Logos can be added using an image file. For highest quality, we recommended a .png file.

Now that your Brand Kit is all set up and ready to go, start creating your content! And… if you are using Mojo Teams, make sure you share your Brand Kit with everyone who you work with.

More ways to brand your content

Choosing your brand’s colors, fonts and logo is a great start, but it doesn’t have to stop there.

Let’s talk about a few more ways to customize your content so that it is completely on-brand.

Branded music selections

Why stop at branding your visual elements, when you can add branding to your audio elements as well? Mojo lets you customize your videos with custom music.

To add music from the editing screen, tap the paintbrush icon. Select Music from the available features.

Within the Music tab, you can select sounds from Mojo’s music library or upload your own files. To upload your own custom sounds or music, tap the cloud icon to the left. Select the track you would like to use, and you’re done!

Branded templates

With Mojo Pro, you get access to hundreds of templates - with new ones coming out each month. We suggest that you choose a handful of templates that you love and cycle through them as you create new videos.

Not only will you become accustomed to these templates and quickly create your content, but you will establish consistency from video to video.

Branded backgrounds

With Mojo Pro, you can quickly remove the background of your video to highlight products and key elements. This is a great opportunity to establish what you want your background to look like when you remove it.

For example: When you highlight a product in your video, should the background be all white, patterned or split between two colors? The sky’s the limit in the Mojo app!

Make sure the background complements your color palette and style - whether your brand is minimalist, posh or funky.

Branded text styles

Not to be confused with branded fonts, you can also choose various text styles to go with your branding.

Mojo Pro lets you unlock all the text styles we have to offer. You’ll find highlighted texts, illuminated text outlines, boxed letters and more.

Branded auto captions

A user favorite! Mojo lets you automatically add captions to your videos. If you're the brand strategist, we suggest that you also establish how you want auto captions to look in your videos.

Within the Mojo app, we have tons of great auto caption options that you can further customize if you wish. Jazz them up with your brand colors too!

To keep everything uniform, choose an auto caption option and stick to it. Mojo even allows you to modify the placement and size of the auto captions so that you can control exactly how they look.

Try to keep your auto captions consistent from video to video.

Bonus: Unbrand Mojo
